DynaMapper for iPad, first video in 2013
Gizmodo article & youtube video about Dynamapper
DynaMapper is the world’s first interactive projection mapping software for tablets and smartphones. In 2013, For an archeological museum, we had to make an Interactive 3D Visualisation of the ancient city in Unity3D. But the projection screen was not planar, and we had to solve this warping problem for those non-planar surfaces. After we developed a clean and fast solution for warping, We realized that this could be a generic solution for Projection Mapping. We tried on iPad ( thanks to unity3d ) and in one week, it was ready for publishing. Dynamapper became a hit in Japanese AppStore. Many firms from different fields started to use Dynamapper immediately. Suddenly we started to see tons of tutorials, tv shows, application videos in application videos in Japanese. After the first version was released I have to move on to new projects.
